Client: City of Newburgh Professional Firefighters

      The City of Newburgh Professional Firefighters are a body of about 60 firefighters who protect the citizens of the city 24/7. The city fire department covers numerous colleges, commercial businesses, and residential structures in a densely populated community of around 30,000 people. To show the firefighters commitment to the community and service provided on a daily basis, the members of 589 contacted us to develop a cost effective website solution to represent their organization. A website was developed with information about the organization along with custom graphics and a Flash banner. The website even will eventually include a live scanner feed so citizens and other area departments can monitor the city's activities over the Internet.

Package: The Business "Elite" Solution
Style:Table-Less Layout, Fluid Sized, CSS/HTML Design, Static Website with Hybrid Technology.
Project: Complete design from the ground up of a HTML-based website with about 20 pages of content. The site is a fluid CSS layout that features information regarding the union local, pictures, videos, and a unique hybrid news setup. The news setup uses hybrid technology with AJAX embedded into the main page to dynamically display the unions latest news from it's RSS feed. The site also includes a Flash header banner for a more visual appeal that does not take away from the site. Future plans even include a live scanner feed, so you can listen to Newburgh's Bravest live!
Status: Completed (7/1/2007).
